“I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in life. And I am horribly limited.”

This is one of the few quotes that I have come across that speaks directly to me because this is exactly how I feel. It’s nice and at the same time strange (in a good way) how no matter the distance, someone on the other side of the globe can be having the same thoughts as you.

Thanks Cyanne 🙂
Wow I can totally relate too! It’s awesome indeed to know that in whatever situation you are, there’s always someone out there who feels the same. 🙂
I know right? Oh yes, though I know this, sometimes I it’s a little hard to wrap around my head 😉
Ah I love this quote too! It juxtaposes nicely with Anne Tyler’s quote “I write because I want more than one life.”
Hey Thomas! I think it would be more of a comparison than a juxtaposition, I could be mistaken. Thanks from coming by 😀
