I just love listening to instrumental music anytime of the day, but most preferably on rainy days. Some are soft, even delicate, sometimes just above a whisper, the notes are like small ripples in a river growing into waves at sea and can soothe an aching heart, whilst some are fast-paced, passionate, then suddenly your soul’s on fire and the music sets your spirit free! The first half of this page is of the easy-listening genre and the other, more faster paced songs.

Okay, this was beautiful! At 2:44 the cello was amazing, 4:17 and 4:34 were fantastic! My first love is the violin but the cello just won a place in my heart.

Now these guys made me get up and dance! First time I listened to this gave my some wild chills, I’m not kidding!
I recommend the Orthodox Celts though ,like me, I don’t think you’ll understand half of what their singing (that is, unless you understand Gaelic) but this is only the instruments. This is their version of Star of the County Down.
